YOURS is excited to announce five new vacancies to work as part of the new CORE group: Coordinators of the Regions (CORE). The group will work closely for around two hours per week on a range of tasks. We need in total seven coordinators for our YOURS Network. Together you form the CORE Group of YOURS.
This is an exciting new opportunity for young people aged 18-30 who have:
- Relevant experience in communicating with networks.
- Relevant experience in organizing events and assemblies.
- Project management skills like budget control, planning and reporting
- Familiarity with national youth-lead organizations in developing and developed countries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, but also contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Computer literacy (including the use of social media).
YOURS is looking for in total 5 Coordinators of the Regions for our YOURS Network. There will be 7 Coordinators in total but two positions have already been filled (Europe: Mr Axl Druart, North America: Ms Jennifer Heatley). These two Coordinators come directly from the the YOURS Taskforce and bring Taskforce knowledge and continuity to the CORE Group.
Together you form the CORE Group of YOURS. You will be the first line of our network members. You are young and motivated and have been active in the road safety field and remain so for the next two years. You also live in a country that is part of the region you coordinate. Preferably you are working at a larger youth-led NGO for Road Safety to ensure your work is being facilitated and supported on the ground. As a member of the CORE Group, you will feed the Secretariat with the recent trends, needs and results in your region. It is your responsibility to identify and connect the young people in your region and you are the focal person of the region. In addition you will have a say in the YOURS strategic direction and will be a ´soundboard´ for the secretariat. The CORE group has one nomination for the Supervisory Council of YOURS.

- Eastern Mediterranean Region
- South and Middle Americas Region
- South East Asia Region
- Western Pacific Region
